    Privacy Policy

How FreedomSeeker processes personal data when you use our website or services.

    Last updated: 3 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how FreedomSeeker ("we", "us") processes personal data through freedomseeker.ai and when you use our services. We process data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable European privacy laws.

    1. Who is responsible?

FreedomSeeker is the data controller for the processing described in this policy. For privacy questions, contact admin@freedomseeker.ai or call +372 5660 1433.

    2. What data do we process?

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:

    • Contact and lead data: name, email, phone, company, job title, project type, timeline, current solution, selected AI goals, project description, and language preference when you submit the contact form.
    • Sales chat: message content, a session identifier, the page URL you chatted from, and technical metadata needed to run the conversation.
    • Technical and security data: IP address, browser type, device and hosting logs (Vercel), timestamps, and data needed to prevent abuse (including bot detection via Vercel BotID on the contact form).
    • Language and preference data: your chosen site language (cookie and, where set, localStorage) and whether you accepted or dismissed a country-based language suggestion.

We do not sell your personal data or use it for ad profiling on this website.

    3. Purposes and legal bases

    • Contact and follow-up (contract steps or legitimate interest): responding to enquiries, scheduling calls, and following up on commercial interest.
    • Sales chat (legitimate interest): providing initial answers about our services through an automated assistant.
    • Website security (legitimate interest): protecting forms, APIs, and infrastructure from spam and abuse.
    • Language and UX (consent or legitimate interest, depending on the technique): remembering your language and showing an optional language suggestion based on an estimated country (derived from your IP via our host).
    • Legal obligations: compliance with tax, administrative, or other duties that apply to us.

    4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and browser storage for essential functions and preferences. See our Cookie Policy for details, retention, and your choices.

    5. Recipients and processors

We share data only with parties that help us operate the site and services, including:

    • Vercel (hosting, edge functions, security, and bot detection)
    • Supabase (storing contact submissions and running email delivery)
    • Resend (transactional email for contact notifications)
    • n8n (processing sales chat messages via a secured webhook)

We use appropriate processor agreements where required.

    6. Transfers outside the EEA

Some suppliers may process data outside the European Economic Area (for example the United States). We rely on appropriate safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses, unless another valid mechanism applies.

    7. Retention

    • Contact enquiries: typically up to 24 months after handling, unless a longer period is needed for an active engagement or legal duty.
    • Sales chat: as long as needed for the conversation and reasonable follow-up; exact retention in our backend depends on our chat and automation configuration.
    • Server and security logs: limited periods per our hosting provider's settings.
    • Language and cookie preferences: see the Cookie Policy.

    8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS, access controls, input validation, rate limiting, and abuse monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

    9. Automated decision-making

The sales chat uses automated replies to help you orient. It does not produce legal effects for you without human involvement. Contractual decisions always involve our team.

    10. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interest. You may withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. Email admin@freedomseeker.ai. We respond within statutory time limits.

    11. Complaints

You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In the Netherlands: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. In Estonia: Andmekaitse Inspektsioon.

    12. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes may be highlighted on the website where appropriate.
